Tour Description

Have you ever wanted to get up close with marine mammals? This tour will be 'hosted' by the natural residents of the Valdes Peninsula, a Patagonian nature reserve close to Puerto Madryn, the second-largest fishing port in Argentina.

Magellanic penguins, sea lions, sea elephants, orcas (killer whales), whales, dolphins all contribute to making the place a star destination for wildlife lovers.

Declared a Natural World Heritage site by UNESCO, the Valdes Peninsula stretches over several hundred miles and is famous for the southern right whales that come to take shelter in the natural bays between June and November.

Further south, in Punta Tombo, between September and April, thousands of Magellanic penguins gather to mate, nest, and look after their offspring.

Traveling to these unique marine mammal conservation sites will definitely leave you with unforgettable memories.
