Cruise Description

Get up close and personal with some 15 glaciers on a 5 day 4 night Patagonia cruise with the M/V Skorpios III, which sets sail from and returns to the Skorpios Terminal in Puerto Natales, situated 2,500 km south of Santiago.

Cover 380 miles as you head to the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and back, admiring a number of glaciers perched in the scenic fjords that form part of Chile’s unspoiled southern Pacific coastline.

In Bernardo O'Higgins National Park, see the 3 km wide Amalia Glacier, which is receding at a remarkably rapid pace compared with glaciers in the same region.

Then, view El Brujo Glacier, and sail to Calvo Fjord where you can spot hanging glaciers that cascade from the Southern Patagonian Ice Cap.

Navigate the long and narrow Montañas Fjord, aptly named for the snow-dusted peaks that line either side and identify the four glaciers that tumble down the Sarmiento Mountains and into the sea.

Reach Bernal Glacier where you'll disembark, wander to its base, and feel the cold of the ice in your hands as you observe the geological features that reveal the constant advance and retreat of the glacier.

With many glaciers only accessible by boat, this Patagonia cruise delivers an exclusive experience that brings a whole new appreciation for the geological features of Patagonia's dazzling landscape.
