Afternoon

Pick up at your hotel at 3PM to start your first carioca adventure!

The Pão de Açúcar, known as Sugarloaf Mountain, is one of the main postcards of Rio de Janeiro and Brazil. Climbing to the top of the mountain is a privilege very few people have had. We invite you to take an adventure along the same path where the conquest of this mountain was made in long ago in 1817.
The Sugarloaf Mountain hike begins at the Cláudio Coutinho pathway and after 20 minutes of the trek, we reach a beautiful viewpoint overlooking the entrance of Guanabara Bay and the city of Niterói. From there, we will start a more technical hike, alternating a trek through various sections of land, stone ramps, and some beautiful viewpoints. The most vertical section of the tour is approximately 20 meters high and is considered basic level climbing. All of the required safety equipment is included in your tour. After overcoming the small section of climbing up the mountain, we will resume the technical hike until we reach the viewpoint of the Philosopher’s Stone. From this outlook, you will have a magnificent view of Copacabana Beach, Pedra da Gávea, and Dois Irmãos. Moving on with our hike takes us to the summit of Sugarloaf Mountain. The way down is made by the Sugarloaf cable car, which takes us to Morro da Urca.
The hike and climb on Sugarloaf Mountain is an unforgettable adventure and a great opportunity for those who have never climbed before to be introduced to this sport in a remarkable way. It does not require much previous experience or excessive physical exertion, and the descent is made by riding the most famous cable car in the world, the Sugarloaf cable car.

The paragliding flight over Rio de Janeiro follows specific routes designed to admire the beaches, mountains, and peaks of the city such as Pedra da Gavea and Morro Dois Irmãos.
Besides paragliding over Rio de Janeiro, you can also try flying with top-of-the-line quality hang-gliding equipment. The hang-gliding flight allows thrill-seekers to enjoy a faster experience soaring through the skies, while the Paragliding flight takes visitors for smoother and longer flight.
