Tour Description

A wine lover’s dream, this 9 day curated wine tour takes you to Chile’s most renowned grape-growing regions to sip on some of the country’s most outstanding blends. Tucked between Santiago and Valparaíso, the Casablanca Valley boasts a cooler climate, which makes for excellent white wines like sauvignon blanc and chardonnays. Spend time along Chile’s pristine coast in the colorful port city of Valparaiso, a destination revered for its steep funiculars and multi-colored neighborhoods. Enjoy a local chef-led lesson on how to make a pisco sour, then visit the relatively small but distinguished wine region of San Antonio Valley, where its vineyards are charmingly perched atop rolling hills. Journey onward to the vineyards of the Colchagua Valley. Though it’s one of Chile’s newer wine regions, it’s favored for its bold and full-bodied reds. Explore the vibrant Chilean capital of Santiago, where you’ll tour its historic landmarks and unravel its storied past. Then make your way to the vineyards of Maipo Valley, one of Chile’s oldest and most famous wine regions. Fondly referred to as the “Bordeaux of South America,” Maipo Valley produces top-notch cabernet sauvignons and merlots among a number of other varietals. Designed for seasoned wine lovers and casual wine drinkers alike, this sophisticated tour promises a memorable time in Chile’s most distinctive wine regions.
