Today is dedicated to a 5-hour hike through the beech and coihue carpeted forests of Torres del Paine National Park with your knowledgeable guide. In a private transfer from your hotel, make your way to Estancia Lazo on a 1 hour 50 min journey. In operation since 1894, this 14000-hectare working cattle ranch on the tranquil shores of Laguna Verde has been transformed into a rustic lodge for visitors. From this remote region on the eastern edges of the park, hike along a relatively flat trail and keep your eyes peeled for signs of wildlife, as condors and caranchos circle the skies, herds of guanacos graze the hills, and brightly colored Austral parakeets chirp melodically from treetops. Reach Honda Lagoon and continue to the Toro Lake lookout, where you'll marvel at a spellbinding collage of snow-capped peaks, rushing rivers, and mighty glaciers. With your guide, identify the meandering Grey, Serrano and Paine Rivers, and Tyndall Glacier. Then make your way down to Weber bridge, where you'll be transported to your campsite for the evening.
