Arrival at Galeão, Rio de Janeiro International Airport, arrival assistance and transfer to your hotel.

Early check-in, installation at your hotel and some free time to enjoy the surroundings and Copacabana beach.

Early in the morning, private transfer to Angra do Reis through one of the most scenic Brazilian roads on the Rio to Santos route (3 hours).

Ferry transfer from Angra dos Reis to Vila Abrãao, the main ferry terminal on Ilha Grande. On the island, a bilingual guide will greet you on arrival and direct you to your hotel.

Free afternoon to enjoy the island and its beautiful beaches.

Sail and hike to Lopes Mendes beach, a pristine 2-mile oceanic beach. With plenty of shade where the lush forest meets the warm sand, enjoy a relaxing day on one of Brazil's 10 most beautiful beaches with refreshing swims in the turquoise waters (6 hours).

OR

Board a sloop to sail to Lagoa Azul (the Blue Lagoon), a calm bay with clear waters. Jump in the inviting turquoise waters to snorkel among bright colored fish, very large sea stars and the rich sealife of Ilha Grande. Sail on to the village of Freguesia de Santana, to visit Santana Church. Built in 1796, it an important heritage building on Ilha Grande (5 hours).

Back to your hotel late in the afternoon, time to relax and enjoy the sunset.

Morning transfer to Rio de Janeiro (3 hours).

In the afternoon, hop on the train up the rack railway to the Corcovado Mountain for a spectacular glimpse of Rio, and an up-close look at the majestic statue of Christ the Redeemer, one of the Seven Wonders of the Modern World.

Then, visit the bohemian neighborhood of Santa Teresa and marvel at its architectural and cultural charms.
