Description

Ship: Designed to accommodate up to 16 passengers, Tip Top II offers unparalleled comfort and luxury. Originally built in 2008, the catamaran was renovated in 2016 to ensure an exceptional experience in the Galapagos Islands.

Amenities: The social areas on board Tip Top II provide a perfect blend of relaxation and entertainment. The Observation & Sun deck beckons with loungers, offering a scenic spot to soak up the sun. In the dining room, savor delightful culinary experiences, while the comfortable lounge provides a cozy retreat for unwinding. Visit the bar for handcrafted cocktails and indulge in board games, videos, books and music in the lounge. To explore the marine life, make use of the complimentary snorkel equipment, kayaks and paddleboards.

Crew: The catamaran’s dedicated team is made up of nine members and a multilingual naturalist guide. On specific dates, a German-speaking guide is also available to cater to a more diverse range of guests.

Dining: Begin your mornings with a wholesome breakfast featuring cereal, yogurt, fruit, pancakes and omelets. Lunches begin with a homemade soup, followed by a buffet of entrees, side salads, rice and potatoes, while dinner features a similar menu with a decadent dessert. Throughout the day, you’ll find a continuous supply of coffee, tea and cookies.

Rooms: 10 thoughtfully designed cabins span the main and upper decks, making up the comfortable accommodations on board. Varying in size from 13 to 18 m², each cabin boasts a private bathroom and air conditioning for a relaxing retreat. The main deck hosts six cabins, offering a mix of doubles and twins, while the upper deck features four cabins, providing options for singles and kings, along with the added luxury of a private balcony. The main deck is also home to two family cabins for larger groups.

Itineraries: Tip Top II offers four sailings, with options for four, five and eight-day journeys. To explore the highlights of Santa Cruz, Genovesa, South Plaza and Santa Fe Islands, opt for the short four-day cruise. The two eight-day sailings offer a more in-depth exploration of the region. While one highlights the western islands, including Fernandina, Isabela and Santiago, the other combines highlights of the northern, southern and eastern islands, with stops at points like Prince Phillip’s Steps, Post Office Bay and Suarez Point on Genovesa, Floreana and Española Islands.
