Cruise Description

Navigate through the pristine Amazonian wilderness on this five-day Aqua Nera Amazon River cruise, which takes off from the port of Nauta. Relish in the brand new ship’s sophisticated suites and elegant lounging spaces, like the outdoor cinema and plunge pool on the sun deck. Then indulge in world-class Peruvian cuisine made with the freshest ingredients by chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino. Search for the legendary pink river dolphins while cruising along the Ucayali and Yanallpa River on a skiff. Join your guide on a full-day excursion on the Pacaya tributary, and learn about the large parrots, macaws, and howler monkeys that inhabit this region as you glide through the flooded forests. Go jungle walking, canoeing, kayaking, or swimming on the black waters of the Yarapa or Clavero River, and visit the quaint village of San Jose de Paranapura before disembarking in Nauta. On your way to the Iquitos Airport, visit the Manatee Rescue Center,  and learn how biologists are rescuing and rehabilitating young manatees, and re-releasing them into the wild.
