Amazon Clipper Premium

Amazon River Cruises

Cruise Description

For an authentic experience in the Amazon rainforest, embark on this four-day cruise aboard the Amazon Clipper Premium. With 16 spacious cabins, a bar, and two whirlpools arranged over four decks, this vessel provides guests with opportunities for adventure in the wild, as well as onboard relaxation. Starting and ending in Manaus, the capital of the Amazonas state, you’ll sail on the Rio Negro and explore the different regions that make up the Brazilian Amazon. Discover the wildlife that calls the banks of the Amazon River home on a night safari, and keep your eyes peeled for sightings of caiman, nighthawks, sloths and frogs. Enjoy some early morning bird watching and spot parrots and toucans. On canoes, paddle through the flooded forests and waterways of Anavilhanas National Park. Visit a local community where you’ll be introduced to the region’s fruits, and learn how to prepare manioc flour. Explore the January Ecological Park and marvel at Victoria Regia, the largest water lily in the world. See Meeting of the Waters, where the dark shades of the Rio Negro and the pale sandy-colored waters of the Amazon River converge, then return to Manaus for your onward journey.
