Cruise Description

Indulge in an epic river adventure on this four-day Untamed Tukano Amazon River cruise. Meet and greet your enthusiastic guide in Manaus, where you’ll board your ship. With 100% solar-powered electricity and a high-tech water filtration system, Untamed is the first eco-friendly vessel of its kind to serve the Amazon. Cruise to Meeting of the Waters, where the dark shades of the Rio Negro and the pale sandy colored waters of the Amazon River come together. Then explore the January Ecological Park, where you can search for rare tropical birds and admire the Victoria Regia, the world’s largest water lily that blooms over still and shallow waters. Spend some leisurely time on the stark white sands of a sun-soaked beach and swim in the Rio Negro while you take in a golden sunset. Canoe on the Rio Arau in search of local flora and fauna, and observe playful monkeys and hanging sloths in the rainforest canopies. At night, scour the banks of the river to catch caiman, nighthawks, and snakes in action. Visit the Tuyukas indigenous community to learn about their culture and history, and return to Manaus for your onward journey.
