Amazon River Cruises

Cruise Description

Visit the Lungs of the Earth on this five-day four-night Iberostar Grand Amazon cruise. Starting and ending in Manaus, the capital of the Amazonas state, you’ll sail on the Rio Negro and explore the different regions that make up the Brazilian Amazon. On a hike or motorboat tour through small water channels known as igarapés, learn about the flora and fauna of the Jaraqui region. Meet members of a local community who live along the Rio Cuieiras, where you’ll be introduced to their customs and way of life. In the Ariaú region, try piranha fishing or visit a local farm. See a rosy sunrise as you cruise down the Rio Ariaú by motorboat and watch pink dolphins splash in the water. See Meeting of the Waters, where the dark shades of the Rio Negro and the pale sandy-colored waters of the Amazon River converge, then return to Manaus for your onward journey. With 74 spacious cabins and luxurious amenities like an outdoor swimming pool and spa,  Iberostar Grand Amazon delivers a five-star luxury hotel experience while you explore the Amazon’s wild.
