Cruise Description

1-Night/1-Day Cruise Experience – Glacier Adventure through Patagonia's Icy Frontier

Explore Lake Argentino, Spegazzini Glacier, Upsala Glacier, Bahia Alemana, and Puesto de las Vacas

Set sail on an unforgettable 1-night, 1-day cruise through the heart of Argentine Patagonia. This immersive expedition navigates the majestic waters of Lake Argentino, offering exclusive access to some of the most awe-inspiring glaciers within Los Glaciares National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Departing from El Calafate, your journey begins as you glide across the turquoise expanse of Lake Argentino, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and remote wilderness. The ship cuts through shimmering icebergs as you head toward the imposing Upsala Glacier, one of the largest in South America. Witness massive ice walls calving into the lake and marvel at the glacier’s surreal blue hues.

The cruise continues to the secluded Bahía Alemana, a tranquil bay surrounded by dramatic mountain scenery, and Puesto de las Vacas, a pristine natural cove where you can disembark for a guided walk among untouched landscapes. Learn about the region's ecology, geology, and glacial history from expert guides as you explore this remote corner of Patagonia.

The journey culminates at the awe-inspiring Spegazzini Glacier, where the tallest ice walls in the national park rise more than 130 meters above the water. Enjoy panoramic views from the ship’s deck or observation lounges, accompanied by a gourmet Patagonian meal and fine Argentine wine.

This luxury overnight cruise offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the silence and scale of Patagonia’s glacial realm—an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime experience through one of the world's most extraordinary natural landscapes.

Let Latin Discoveries take you beyond the edge of the map on this short but spectacular journey through ice, water, and sky.
