Dining: With two large tables of eight, the dining room on board adopts an open seating policy and serves meals in both à la carte and buffet style. The menu changes daily, with varied breakfasts of hot dishes and choice of toast or cereal, while lunch and dinner feature fresh and locally sourced produce, poultry and seafood across a range of international and Ecuadorian dishes.
Rooms: Nine sea-facing cabins make up the spacious accommodations on board. Spread across the lower, main and upper decks, each unit ranges in size from 13 to 18 m² and comes equipped with ensuite bathrooms, eco-friendly shampoo and soaps and large windows that highlight views of the volcanic islands. Each cabin is also outfitted with two single beds or one comfy double one, depending on preference and needs.
Itineraries: Galaxy offers five sailings to choose from, including options for four, five, six and eight-day journeys. For a short tour of the region’s highlights, go for the four-day cruise, which visits Mosquera, Santiago, Bartolome and Genovesa Islands. To cruise the region at a more relaxed pace, opt for the eight-day sailing, which visits the western islands, spending multiple days exploring the highlights of Isabela Island, as well as Fernandina, Santiago, Santa Cruz and Rabida Islands.
