Tour Description

Buenos Aires' poetic name translates as 'Good Air' or 'Fair Winds' and is also known as the Paris of South America. Part Latin-American and part European, the city is unique for its European background but is best known for its tango, soccer, beef, and wine.

The capital of Argentina counts more than 30 neighborhoods, the most famous being La Recoleta, San Telmo, Palermo, and La Boca, each one bringing its own flavor to the city.

This tour will take you to the best places in Buenos Aires to get a taste of what the country has to offer before going to Mendoza, the largest wine region in Argentina.

White Malbec might be the local signature wine, but the region provides beautiful terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Syrah, Torrontes and Sauvignon Blanc.

In addition to visiting several awarded wineries, this will be your chance to explore the foothills of the Aconcagua, the highest mountain in the world outside Asia. At 22,837 feet (6960 m), it is the highest peak in the Southern Hemisphere and one of the 'Seven Summits'.

Only a short flight away, you will then explore Salta, a quiet colonial town from where you will embark on a scenic journey to Cachi and Cafayate, the country's region ranked second best for its wine production.

This tour is the opportunity for every wine connoisseur to further their status as wine experts while visiting the stunning northwest region of Argentina.
